Lindsay Lohan & Mom Dina

Today we lift up EVERY Lindsay Lohan and their Parents, EVERY family dealing with addiction, EVERY child enabled by an irresponsible parent, and EVERY dysfunctional family unit.

Jehovah Jireh, The Lord who Provides, I thank you for giving us a representation of family. Thank you for the sacrifice, dedication, patience, unconditional love, and training that you displayed with your son Jesus Christ. Help us as parents to be more like you, help us as parents to take the road that will lead our children into success, legacy, and commitment. Please continue to provides us with the wisdom, knowledge, grace, and understanding that it takes to raise children in this world.

Lord, please provide families with inner strength it takes to battle addictions. Please provide families the peace of mind and faith that life will not always be this way and recovery is possible. As you never gave up on your son and your son never gave up on you, please favor families dealing with addiction the same fortitude and love to make it through.

Allow truth, integrity, love, compassion, and understanding to guide our heart, thoughts, confessions, and decisions towards one another. Give an ear to each parent and child, to hear your victorious word.  Let their foundation of faith become firm: No longer standing on sinking sand but standing on your word, on your promises, in order to make critical paradigm and lifestyle shifts.

Connect these struggling families with other survivors and people of faith. Present doors of opportunities that will help each family unit recover and reestablish broken relationships and trust. Let the concept of a Higher Power be a welcoming relief for all involved and allow this discovery to melt the harden walls of mistrust, abuse, dysfunction, and cruelty and cleanse the soul of deathly impurities.

Let the mind that was in Christ Jesus be also in them. Let the reality of "I can do all things through Christ Jesus" be their new perspective. All things work together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. And as it is written, Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. Thank you for preparing a table for each family in the presence of their enemy.

In their walk through the valley of shadow and death, they shall fear no evil because you are with them. Thank you for never leaving of forsaking our broken and hurting families plagued with the demon of addiction. Thank you for preparing a solution just for them. Thank you for your love, mercy, and grace.

I pray in the strength and power of Jesus Christ.

Today we lift up EVERY Martin Luther King. We lift up EVERY future leader, EVERY divine voice that evokes change into an amoral system, EVERY charismatic speaker with power to influence masses, and EVERY King enlisted in the Kingdom of God.

El Olam, The Everlasting God, I thank you for our children whose divine nature contains the potential, ability, and grace to be a future leader. I pray that opportunities to travel, read, and interact with people are magnetic qualities added to their lives: For the blessing of the Lord will make them intangibly rich, and you Lord will not add any sorrow with it. Thank you that their perspective is well developed and mature. Thank you that their mindsets are not narrow nor closed but open to create equality and humane love for all people.

I decree that every child whose divine voice will evoke change in an amoral system shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of their heart shall be of understanding. For wisdom is the principal thing; therefore I pray they get wisdom: and with all their getting I pray they get understanding. I thank you for blessing us to raise world changers and trailblazers.

Jehovah Shalom, The Lord of Peace, I pray that you continue to fill our children with hope, joy, and peace in believing, that they may abound in hope through the power of the Holy Ghost. Lord GOD thank you for giving our chosen leaders the tongue of the learned, that they should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: I beseech you Father to awaken their ears morning by morning to hear as the learned. Almighty God, keep them in perfect peace and add a measure of grace to every child mandated to influence masses not to think of themselves more highly than they ought to think, but to think soberly.

Lord you are King of Kings and Lord of Lords. All power has been given unto you in heaven and earth. You shall reign forever and ever. Lead every Prince maturing and growing in the Kingdom of God, train up our children in the way they should go so that as they become Kings and old men they will not depart from your teachings.

Wonderful and Merciful Father, thank you for your predestined purposes, thank you creating children with a destiny to be Leaders, World Changers, and Kingdom Citizens. Father help us to protect, nurture and love the precious gifts of life. Help us to help them. Help us to teach them. Help us to train them. Help us to love them. And help us to be a better example to them.

I pray through the power and strength of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Trayvon Martin

Heavenly Father,

Today we lift up EVERY Trayvon Martin, EVERY 17 year old black male, EVERY teenage high school student, EVERY kid killed in an unjustifiable homicide, Today we lift up children whose lives resemble the memory that we have of Trayvon Martin.

Father God, you are our master teacher. Thank you for adopting us into your family through our faith in Jesus Christ, who was the expressed image of you, who upholds all things by the word of his power, what He says He's gonna do, He does with all his ability and strength. Goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of my lives.

I am crying out for our young boys. For our children who are still babies and haven't truly experienced life. For our innocent, whose paradigms and impressions are freshly biased to their parents system and journey in life. For my future my legacy of generations, the next game changer or historian, their life will rewrite history. Lord, we are covering your children with your Word of Truth.

My Savior, My Creator, I pray that our young males are given adequate time in life to live out their dreams, hopes and desires. I pray that nonsense and violence don't abruptly end what God carefully molded together.

Great God protect our black teenage males, keep them safe from any enemy including the police, neighborhood watch leaders, community leaders and every adult responsible for securing the safety of our children.

Righteous Judge, I pray for the future husband for my daughter, the new best friend of my son, my sons, and your sons. I pray that racial profiling will only make them stronger and not kill them. I beseech you my Most Holy Advocate to give our children recourse for the constant violation of their rights. Give them special rights an immediate inheritance, a consolation prize for being chosen because their lives do matter and are valuable to us.

Loving Father, thank you for the precious gift that you made in Trayvon Martin. Thank you for the lives that he effected inspired and showered him with love. Let peace rest in the hearts of his parents. I pray grace a favor over families whose hearts are grieved from loss.

Let an 10.0 earthquake of change begin to happen in the earth and in the spirit for the lives of our children. Let the eyes of their understanding become enlightened at a young age; always knowing what is "the hope" of his calling, experiencing the "riches of the glory" of his inheritance.

My Shepherd, Thank you for leading our creative young maturing male into a fresh wind of vitality, with a lake of restoration and fields of trees with heart healing herbs. Heal our generation of male youths, keep them close to you and away from the slaughter of life. May their future be filled with peace. I pray thru the power and strength of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Purpose

To celebrate my birthday this year God asked me to pray for his children and his parents in the Kingdom. It's an honor for me to carry his glory from the throne room to his people just as it is an honor for me to live my life.

So...

For the rest of this month, I will be praying for parents and children. The theme of the prayer will be based upon the accompanying picture. Each picture will represent a truth in our society a truth that is effecting parents and children.
